The world's most famous animal, here to help you through the day. This mechanical movement watch was manufactured in West Germany by Helbros in the early 1970's for the Walt Disney Company. While the House of Mouse has been licensing character-face watches for almost a hundred years, certain editions stand the test of time- and this year we'll be showcasing our favorites.
A mix of sharp lines and smooth curves cut in its steel case match the modern era of a 1972 debut. Raised numerals in a typeface straight out of Tomorrowland flicker in brushed satin sheen. Well-tested, Mickey's hands keep excellent time for over 24 hours with no apparent threat to the reserve (though we recommend a daily wind, to keep the watch's promise).
This vintage watch is in swell condition, but has a few marks on the case, strap and bezel from light wear over the years (that we don't feel distract from its design or function). There's no explicit warranty we can issue with vintage watches, though this watch was recently serviced and everything is working well.
Movement: 17 jewel mechanical, manual wind movement, serviced in 2020.
