Comme des Garçons PLAY is not available for purchase online, but is available in our Brooklyn store.
A dry, technical and light weight update to the classic kangaroo pocket pullover hooded sweatshirt form Comme des Garçons. PLAY pieces always walk the line between casual and contemporary, making matches with well-worn jeans and tailored trousers alike. As always, everything is made in Japan with unmatched care of creation.
Since its 2002 inception, Comme des Garçons PLAY has subverted the ubiquity of fashion staples with its meticulous construction and recurrent leering heart. The now iconic patch was designed by artist Polish artist Filip Pagowski, who first connected with the line's designer Rei Kawakubo in the 1980s.
On model photography will arrive later this season. Please contact us with any questions.

About the Designer:
Comme des Garçons is the original Japanese fashion innovator, founded by and headed by icon Rei Kawakubo. Based in Tokyo and Paris, with revolutionary stores located across the world, the brand’s many collections of clothing and accessories have inspired generations of its loyal following.
"I remember working on something... not connected with anything," Pagowski recalled. "I got this idea of a red heart with a set of eyes. I drew it instantaneously and the first draft was it. I submitted it for another CdG project, for which it never made it, but eventually it resurfaced; making bigger waves as a logo for the PLAY line."
